It was likely the words of the ancient Greeks and Romans that first sparked my love for ancient Egypt. That passion led me to study hieroglyphs, take countless trips to the land of the Nile, and engage in years of research and excavations—work that has continued without pause for the past twenty-five years. From the very beginning of my journey, many friends who shared my admiration for this great and ancient culture joined me in the effort to give voice once more to the words carved in stone so long ago. Thanks to the generosity and spirit of these friends, I was able to create an association dedicated to sharing the knowledge of Egyptian civilization and to advancing research through a rich program of archaeological excavations.
